Supablast is a grit blasting and protective coatings specialist based near Birmingham but operating nationwide.

We offer a wide range of blast cleaning techniques for the purpose of cleaning a wide range of surfaces.  Through our knowledge and experience of the industry, we are able to complete all projects.  Our wide range of preparation methods allows us to prepare any surface.

When blast cleaning steel, we can achieve SA1, SA2, SA2.5 and SA3.  In addition, we can achieve ST2 and ST3 mechanical preparation.  For more info, please see the ISO standard.

With the accreditations we hold, we are able to apply all protective coatings in a wide range of industries.  All our paint applicators hold the ICATs certification which is held in high regard in most industries.

We use a variety of large paint manufactures such as Leighs and International to ensure we use the best products for all our projects. 

Following the completion of our works, we supply a quality file to demonstrate our quality control.  Information includes wet/dry film thickness readings, temperature control and name of applicator.

New contract in Republic of Ireland

Supablast's participation in the UKPIA passports scheme run by the Safety Pass Alliance has already started paying dividends. We have just won a contract to refurbish petrol storage tanks in the Republic of Ireland.

The work will involve the blast cleaning and re-lining of the interior of petrol storage tanks across Ireland.

We offer a one stop hire of all the plant and equipment necessary to complete the works without the need for a sub contractor. To assist the main contractor, we offer full support and breakdown cover which is included in the price.
